The rattlesnake hisses
and coils with distaste
as those with some denseness
mistake her for fake.
Her powers are suited
for those with high place,
and all those who fear her
will die without face.
She radiates Oneness
to Earth she is bound,
but the higher ones
see her as
fierceness and sound.
She corkscrews through
tangled brush everyday,
and to see her is to see
one's own spun DNA.
The golden light radiates
upon the Earth now,
as the dolphins spread opals
and the mountain peaks snow,
bright crystalline rainbows
and tones which ring clear,
one ought to have witnessed
as more than one tear.
