Channeled Poem, Life's Utter Peace, 7-5-2011

A vacant food court
at the end of the day,
in San Diego dreams are
made of this clay.
The peaceful, the listening
buildings around,
the empty lot holds only
14 cars now, as a few
people linger and a
few more drive up
this commercial zone
lends itself well to corrupt
preconceived notions
of ugly strip malls,
and fast food awaits
but somehow is not dull.
It pulses and radiates
with life's utter peace,
as I sit in contentment
watching my dear friend feast.
