Poem, Visit Your Mother, 2-1-12

Feelings are simple
reasons are hard
sunny days slip by
in mind and not heart

Skip the appointment
of duty and claim
Get that you're a child of
the sunshine and rain.

Visit your Mother
the Earth is her name
She hasn't seen you
you're inside your brain.

Step out of working mode
enough to find
your heart and soul
can be found playing outside.
