Poem, Phoenix Rising, 3-26-12

From the Eden of Ocean
To the Eden of Desert
Changing vibration to
Increase our pleasure
Increase our vision
Increase our range
Increase our prisms
Nothing's the same

Enjoy the great journey
With joy as our fuel
Passionate interest
In EVErything new
Sun god enlightens
Goddess holds ground
All rays received at dusk
Rebirthed at dawn

Unending recycled
Light in an ellipse
From the sun through
The Earth's generous helix
Matching his radiance
Taking it in
Output raw power
To crown the new prince.

NOTE from Wikipedia: The ancient Greek historian Herodotus gave the following account of the phoenix in the fifth century BC while describing the animals of Egypt:
Another sacred bird is the one called the phoenix. . . .the bird sets out from its homeland in Arabia on a journey to the sanctuary of the sun, bringing its father sealed in myrrh, and buries its father there
