Poem, Locked Sprockets, 7-22-12

Smitten then bitten
Then left in the dust
Emptiness blankets
Sprockets* who rust

Pay what is needed
To fix what's been broke
Submit to others
Whose specialist stroke
Yields a much higher
Faster Rich Gain
Attained with no effort
No frustration or pain

Now back on the road
Back to the heights
Back to the lofty
Back to the bright

The sprockets engage
The sequence begins
The Earth is a haven
Now ride like the wind.

--EVE Featherstone
