Poem, Fake Servitude, 11-4-2011

Satisfied now to be out of the fray
out of the testing out of dismay
out of the false hope
out of raw competition
out of rejection
out of comprehension
out of society
out of the game
out of the chatting
into disarray

No order near me
no tasks at hand
no obligations
no packing bags
no politics, judgment
no fake servitude
no lame opinions
no volatile moods.

Amid the void
amid pure peace
amid my monastic
thoughts and no deeds.

--EVE Featherstone
