Poem, Pushed Through Desert Heat, 5-2-13

The sun beat down upon our heads
The car heavily rolled down
The mountains baked along the side
The road wound round and round.

Approaching desert valley
Through mountain passes high
Pushed against the air so hard
It caused our eyes to cry

Winding through the wind and heat
Silently in awe
Pushing through the heat so hard
Resistance melts and thaws

The Beings and the desert people
Wait in separate planes
One swimming in minerals
One swims in our veins

Returning in an altered state
We make our way back home
Not too sure what happened there
Maybe now we're clones
